Events and Workshops (Visual Resume, Networking for Introverts, etc.)
The Visual Resume
The main point of a resume is to get you an interview. But how do you create an effective resume? How do you create a resume that helps the recruiter to see the things they are looking for? How do you construct a resume that will actually get you the interview?
This presentation will provide you with the basics for building a resume that will get you to an interview. It will explain how recruiters look at resumes and how to write a resume that will make it easy for them. The second part of the presentation will include real world examples of resumes that make the cut – and those that don’t. The best part of this is that you will have an opportunity to review and rate the resumes and begin to see the resume from the recruiter’s viewpoint.
